Interactive Media: Web Services
Pathway Description
This pathway provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in web development and administration careers. Students receive training in the areas of Fundamentals of Web Design, Graphic Design for the web, Web Animation Tools, and Web Design Strategies. Major areas of instruction include developing graphic and animated images, performing web application maintenance, troubleshooting, manipulating web-related software applications, and performing advanced web-based multimedia. Training may also include oral and written communication, problem solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills through work group activities. Students may also learn web programming languages such as HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, XML, and others.
