Pathway Description: Consruction: Residential or Comercial Electrician's Assistant
Students will receive
instruction and guided practice to
develop the necessary skills for entry-level
employment in the electrical trade industry.
These skills include the identification,
usage and care of equipment, tools
and meters associated with the electrical
field. Students will work with planning,
laying out and installing electrical
circuits that conform to local and
national code requirements, for both
residential and commercial installations. Students also receive up to
1,050 hours toward the required on-the-job training hours needed to take the
Journeyman Electrician Examination.
